Good morning. There is a playful, mischievous little wind - TopicsExpress

Good morning. There is a playful, mischievous little wind blowing in the morning now a days; and if you are the kind of person who likes being out in the mornings, you can see small heaps of autumnal leaves scurrying away before it. Listen carefully and you can hear the very dry leaves drag themselves over the tarred road you walk on, and you realise that the season is changing, because thats what the sound means. If you are the kind of person who doesnt have a mobile plugged into your ears, attacking you with blaring music, these sounds tell you, that what passes for autumn in a place like Mumbai, is on its way out, and what passes for winter, is on its way in. If you are lucky, and there are not very many noisy people around, you can find a bulbul sitting on a very low branch, unafraid, because you look harmless. Sometimes they seem to be scolding you; sometimes they almost sound like they are serenading you. Pure, throaty, seductive trills. You can hear the staccato cheeps of the blue-velvet kingfisher, the long notes of the cuckoo; and again, if you are lucky and very, very quiet, you can see, whizzing in and out of the shrubbery, tiny fly catchers, or honey suckers. I think thats what they are called, though I am not vey sure. Life is beautiful. Have a blessed day.
