Good morning. There is a song by the gospel group “Legacy Five” called monuments. It asks the question: Where are the monuments we should be building?” It is asking what we are leaving our kids to show them the way home. It is a wonderful song. It tells us there is hope for our families, so don’t move the landmarks set up for your children; they will find the way by what we have left behind. I think sometimes we get discouraged because our family doesn’t come in according to the timeline we think. We don’t know how long we are going to be here and it may depend on what we leave behind as to whether they make it or not. I once told my children that I could leave them everything that I have but the greatest treasure I could leave them is Jesus. And it is not just our children but all children that we come in contact with. You see there are some children out there that their parents have not made a path way to God. So let us make our monuments and paths strong and wide enough for several generations. Question: Where are the monuments we should be building?
