Good morning! Today, a low pressure system will cut across the area bringing a slight chance for a shower to the Valley. Snow showers will be a bit more likely in the mountains, and snow levels could drop as low as 2,000 feet. High temperatures in the Valley will reach the upper 40s today with a mix of sun and clouds. Overnight, temperatures will drop below freezing and some spots could see winds gusting to 25 MPH. Expect very windy conditions in the Foothills and Sierra this evening through tomorrow morning. Cold air will settle into the Valley over the next few days bringing the chance for freezing temperatures lasting several hours overnight. The coldest night looks to be as we bring in the New Year with the temperature at midnight hitting around 32 degrees in Fresno!
