Good morning. Today i would like to share this very special tree with you. This is the Schotia brachypetala aka Weeping boer-bean. This indigenous flowering tree can be found in the Bushveld, KZN, Eastern Cape, Moz and Zim. This one is planted at the TreeCo premises in Wellington and is flowering very well. This specific tree was planted in remembrance of my mum that passed away 10 years ago, as this was her favourite tree. We had moved it two years ago as it was planted in a very wet area and didnt like the area too much. Now after settling into its new spot this tree is much happier and its showing in its abundant flower show. We have lots of happy vibes with seeing this tree flourish. Enjoy the pics.
