Good morning! We are starting off with cloudy and misty conditions outside. There is some very light snow falling across Swisher, Briscoe & Hall Counties this morning. It wont amount to much at all. There may be a few slick spots on the roads, but we are not looking at a widespread icing event this morning. The clouds will stay with us throughout the day today. But, we will see highs climbing up to 40° in Lubbock. Tonight will see fewer clouds, but it will be cold by tomorrow morning, with a low of 28°. The real warmth is going to kick it into high gear starting tomorrow. We will see highs in the upper 50s Thursday, before 60s come into the forecast for Friday-Monday. Lubbock will get to 63° Friday, then stay in the lower 60s Saturday & Sunday. Mid 60s return for Monday. So, if you have any outdoor plans for the holiday weekend, the weather will be perfect. We wont really see too much wind, either. The worst is looking to be on Saturday, where we will see the southerly winds at 10-15 mph.
