Good morning. We got through the 2am and 6am doses (going in now) with no reactions. They slightly slowed the rate as which it was being pumped into his system hoping that helped. We both got some rest in between vitals/doses and the little baby (just thankful Daniel can voice whats hurting...) now we wait for the doctors to make rounds (will be the full tea,s today) and then the picc line. After that, its all up to the infectious disease team to determine how his meds will need to be administered to be most effective and the at home care team to set up at home care. Im secretly hoping he has to be home tutored through the 6-8 weeks ordeal I think it would be best and easiest for him. But in the end WHATEVER is best is what will be. Your continued prayers, love, and support are greatly appreciated. As I see the many children here being treated for cancer I contemplate what their parents must be going through as well. Nobody wants a sick child. As always we are thankful Daniel is being treated and hopefully once the infection is gone the damage to his heart will heal and not require surgery. Then we can move forward in life in celebration of good health.
