Good morning, What a busy weekend. We woke up early on - TopicsExpress

Good morning, What a busy weekend. We woke up early on Saturday, because Queen Sheba was so excited about going to Breakfast With Santa invited by the Trinity Parish Episcopal Church, in Bayonne, NJ. Calli, discovered too that she was going. It seems one of the cats (Tuna) who was going to attend had been adopted! Remember Gabbys story about Cinnamon and the nuns who rescued him, well they found and helped Tuna as well. Tuna was left on the street when his family moved. He was named Tuna because the mail carrier, every day, shared a tuna sandwich with him. Of course cats love tuna (even though it is not good for them, just like humans like so many things that are not good for them as well). Since it was very cold, the nuns asked our friend Philip to help find a home for Tuna. Tuna had been going up to everyone begging for an indoor home for a few weeks. Now Tuna has the best home ever. I will show you a picture of him. Queen Sheba and Cali have not found their forever homes yet, but 2 kittens, rescued from the street (and taught their manners) by our friend Susan did. Their names are Nigel and Niles. They were fond in Jersey City, but like to pretend they are from England. They are brothers and now will live together always. Santa told everyone, that their forever homes will be coming real soon and that will be the best present for them ever. The biggest surprise was when we saw pictures from the event. Gabby couldnt believe his eyes. He saw his friend Fifi. Fifi had been in Liberty Humane in Jersey City with Gabby. Poor Fifi though had been losing her fur in the Shelter and now she looked so, so beautiful and healthy. She is a tortoiseshell with a beautiful orange streak. Just look at her! No one at the Shelter knew why Fifi had been losing her fur, but she was miserable. She would keep scratching and scratching. The Shelter did a few tests, gave her some medicine, but it continued. The Shelter did not have the money to do more medical work for her. But luckily some of her friends brought her into their rescue and one of her admirers paid for her to see a specialist and a wonderful person offered to have her live with her until she was well. After many months, a special diet, a specialist and medicine (which she needs to take only a few times a week) she is better. Fifi though needs to find a forever home and because of her special diet a home alone. She is only 3 years old and loves people. If you know anyone who can help her, please let me know. She lives in Jersey City but of course her friends will bring her to her new home. Oh, here comes Fancy with some more jokes: Where does Santa stay when hes on holidays? At a Ho-ho-tel! Why does Santa always go down the chimney? Because it soots him! Fancy, he just cracks me up.
