Good morning! What a day! To be thankful! Im learning more and more that my willingness to step out and take risks for God is directly linked to my appreciation for the cross. Heres the deal... the deal God struck with Himself. He willingly GAVE His only son FOR ME! AND YOU. To be... Rejected Beaten Mocked Abused Ignored Misunderstood Did I say rejected? Bruised Bloodied Bludgeoned Stabbed Whipped Nailed by his hands and feet Killed And still rejected... WHY DID HE DO IT? He couldnt stand the thought of spending eternity without YOU. His baby. His son. His daughter. Our sins must be paid with death. Remember, Gods plan was intimacy. He walked with Adam and Eve. They heard His voice. But the devil... his plan was to usurp Gods plan. So He tried to use that plan to his advantage to get back at God... because Satan felt rejected. So Adam and Eve took the bait. And sin came alive in the earth. But GOD DID NOT REJECT US! Despite the fact we reject Him everyday. He sent Jesus! And we must do our best to realize how much were worth. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN THE UNIVERSE. YOU ARE PRECIOUS. God gave His son for YOU. Rest in knowing you are worth it. And trust Gods not done with you yet. God bless you.
