Good morning! What a day yesterday with its emotional highs and lows. For the daily Chew this morning I dedicate it to my Beautiful new nephew Liam Uncle Jonathan Loves You with all his heart. Todays post is going to be some what of reflection about who I learned my God is. Yesterday started out as any normal day at 3:30 am my nephew was born. I went back to sleep and I was up praying and working on my sermon for Saturday when my brother called and said there was something wrong with my nephew. Well that was scary and he needed me right now. I am so blessed to be close to where my brother lived however had I not been close I would have spent millions of dollars to get to him. All this time you think the worst you dont know what to say do and you just get numb. I realize however in that moment God was there! I realized that he had this situation in his hand, and I realized I need to pray and pray I did. Through out the day we had many highs and lows and struggles and at times I just did not understand why this was happening. When looking at our lives we dont always understand what is playing out in our lives and Gods greater purpose. I believe God is doing a work in my family and I hold on to the verse from Jeremiah 29:11 For I knows the plans I have for you declared the Lord Plans to prosper you not to harm you and give hope and a future. Liam has a future just like all of you. We may not know what it is or even understand what that future is. I know for many of you today was the first day of school, yesterday was Liams first day of life and it was rough for him and his family, but Just like the Chris Tomlin song says Our God is great our God is strong God you higher then every other. https://youtube/watch?v=NJpt1hSYf2o God Bless P.J.
