Good morning all. 48 degrees in Northern Colorado this day. Sunny, but the next polar vortex is about to hit us. They even are saying there will be snow out here on the plains. Great day of football yesterday. Talk about blow outs, the Green Bay-Chicago game sure had all the earmarks. Big day today. I am starting a diet plan with Nutrisystems. I need to loose some poundage and this has worked before, so here I go again. I will keep you updated on the outcome from time to time. We celebrated my grandson Jakobes birthday yesterday, it was a great time. We are so proud of him. My oldest son and his wife adopted him when he was just an abandon baby in Ethiopia just over 4 years ago. He had been born and then left at a fire station in a large city there. God has a plan for his life and we are just glad to be a part of it. Veterans day tomorrow, remember if you see a veteran, tell him or her how much you appreciate their service. Many of us who came back from duty stations during the 60s and 70s received other greetings upon our return. It is so important that we not let that happen to those who have given so much these past years in the Middle East and Afghanistan. I am always running into WWII and Korean veterans, they too appreciate that simple act of kindness. It only takes a second to brighten a persons day. Try it. Here is todays promise. (Romans 8:26) The gift of Gods Spirit is truly miraculous and sure sign of His evident mercy. Though uncomprehending His work or power, ever will He aid us in our multiplied weakness. He is working in us daily causing us to be conformed to the image of Christ Himself. Praise the Lord for this Helper all you people of God!
