Good morning all.... Janelle has posted quite a long summary of Keatons journey yesterday on Prayers for Keaton website.... A shorter version is: he is recognizing mom and dads voice and is responding.... The staff feel although this is an important step, they are encouraging them to just be there by touch as he gets upset, and he is susceptible to have a stroke....Heart is functioning fine... Hopefully today will be another good day for him.... We do have one little problem, somehow in the excitement of his first day postoperative, his precious blankie got misplaced.... Trying hard to find it but in a hospital the size of the Stollery, that might be impossible.... As Day 3 starts, all is good on this side.... We pray his day today is a better one than yesterday and so forth.... Thank you all and have a wonderful day....
