Good morning all and for you sports fans, it was a great day for the Lions’ team and Andy Murray. Great weather forcast for the week, keep your sun lotion close by. Right, there has been 9 crimes committed in the area over the past 24hrs (0700 07/07 – 0700 08/07) 2 males was arrested for possession of a class B drug (Cannabis). There was a burglary on Lytham road whereby offenders have entered via an open ground floor window. Please do make sure you close your ground floor windows through the night, even with the warmer weather. Don’t give offenders an easy way in. A male was arrested for an assault on Bowling Green lane in Longsight and a seperate assault took place outside Raja’s take away on Wilmslow road, the offender to that assault was arrested too. Another burglary was committed on Old Hall Lane, offender/s forced entry to address and stole jewellery. A male was arrested for 2 lots of assaults on Laindon road. Lastly a male was arrested following a burglary at Witworth park student housing. Enjoy your day and keep safe.
