Good morning all, its a very wet start to the day and looks to be set in. 5 crimes were committed over the past 24hrs. 0700 01/10 – 0700 02/10 There was a domestic assault on Rockdove avenue in Hulme last night, the offender will be arrested in due course after leaving prior to police arrival. Two assaults occurred during the same incident last night on Walmer street, Rusholme. The offender was arrested. A group of males threw an object at a car whilst in motion, the driver has then gone after the group who ran off. Once he has caught up with them and challenged them, they all assault him and are racially abusive towards him. It is always a difficult judgement call as to whether to takle offenders, but we must always advise to call us out and if you follow offenders to keep a safe distance and keep a running commentry to the call taker who will help you with what we need. Please don’t put your selves at risk, always keep safe. Lastly a male was arrested following a public order incident on Thronton road yesterday morning. Hope you all have a good day.
