Good morning all, what a great start to this sunny day !!! Just recieved this from the hardest working Dementia lead nurse in the world Lisa Houlihan !! We now have the first 10 out of 11 South Devon Community Hospitals trained up in Dementia awareness via the Dementia RCN Space training Programme See below, rcn.org.uk/development/practice/dementia/commitment_to_the_care_of_people_with_dementia_in_general_hospitals So proud of each and every one of them and only ONE MORE TO GO !!! When last one done all 11 hospitals will have the purple Angel accreditation!! Another example of the Purple Angel and the forget me not working together, as it should be !! The Patients notes haver the Blue forget me not on and the front admissions desk Proudly Displays the We are Denetia Aware Purple Angel Emblem for all to see.
