Good morning and Happy Fathers Day to all of our Dads. Its a - TopicsExpress

Good morning and Happy Fathers Day to all of our Dads. Its a mild 64° with skies clouding over for the day. The SPC has put us under a slight severe thunderstorm risk for today. It will be a mainly dry start into the afternoon hours, and then well have to see how things play out. Storms to our west have developed and died over the last 24 hours, so I still dont feel much of a threat for SE WI. Whether or not that changes by later today can only remain to be seen. Highs will climb into the low 80s inland with building humidity. The winds will be quite gusty today also, I will likely be home most of the day to update, and keep you all informed of any needed info. I will however head out IF its necessary. Again, Im not chasing thunderstorms, but I will chase if the severe threat presents itself. Skies clear out and the sun returns for Monday with another day expecting highs in the low 80s, and more bearable humidity levels. By Monday night, an unsettled weather pattern arrives, and we will see rain/storm chances carry on through most of the upcoming week. Before I get too far into that, lets keep our eyes on today, and get everyone through it safely. If you plan to picnic or grill out, I suggest to do it early this afternoon. Not everyone will be washed out, but a few locations may. The main threats will be strong winds, large hail possible, and heavy downpours of you receive a thunderstorm. Have a great Fathers Day :).
