Good morning and bright blessings to you on this the first day of summer. How will you be celebrating this solstice day? Me? I will be mowing the yard right after I make lunch. I spent my morning in the villages of Mount Pleasant Mills and Meiserville, as I went about my early shopping at the butcher, the grocer and the feed mill. Now to package up the meats for the freezer, get some other small chores done and then make lunch. This afternoon I hope to get the yard mowed while Hubby works on the cars. His car needs new gaskets for the tranny. My car needs new brakes and rotors. And I am hoping he gets a chance to get some weed whacking done. Keep in mind we are both battling nasty colds. So all this may sound simple but we are far from energetic at the moment. So there you have it, our first day of summer. Here is hoping yours is full of sun and fun.
