Good morning and what a pleasant drive to work. Winter is starting to settle in and it is nice to walk out and drive off in a warm vehicle, thank you honey for always looking out for my well being. I have been thinking a lot about my current situation dealing with work and my future. Sometimes it’s good to let things take its course and let it work out on its own, but in this situation I had to consult with my husband about a decision we had to make. I always wanted to move home and on the other hand I also wanted to experience living off the reservation (out east) where I had acquired a lot more than I ever expected. Through our conversation we were both able to explore different options and we came to a conclusion that we will be getting a job closer to my hometown “Cottonwood” and start building our dream house. Our home site lease application is in process and thanks to my grandmas, grandpas and aunt for allowing me to move home without giving us a hard time on choosing a plot of our choice. We will be taking a big cut in our annual salary but building our home will be a huge investment. Who knows after we build our dream home I might get another opportunity to get a job somewhere down east and still get to experience living out both worlds, for now I will be moving home to Cottonwood this summer and I cannot wait to start the process.
