Good morning, everybody! Tank here. Last night my mom thought I just HAD to have my temperature taken. Apparently I slept too much for her liking. Low and behold - 102.8 and my mom was very concerned. Thats a fever, folks, albeit a low grade one (just barely over high normal). So my mom decided we are back to daily PI (brrrrrrr.................) and she also gave me a dose of Metcam to help with the fever. This morning I am much better. Ive already stopped by the food bowl 3 times in just the last 30 minutes. Making up for some lost time. Treating FIP is not an exact science. Youve gotta be in tune with your furry friends. My mom thought something was off and she acted on it immediately. Just like when I first got sick. I am not thrilled about having to get the PI again on a daily basis (I hate confinement of any kind unless its my idea - I am a Bengal after all), but it looks as though for the time being that is what is required, so thats what my mom will do. Thank you all for cheering me on. I will try remembering your cheers when I get my next dose of PI this evening. Have you ever seen American Idol? You know how Ryan Seacrest at the end always says Seacrest out. Well - I like that. So here it goes: Tank out!
