Good morning everyone :) As you can see from the latest 8am - TopicsExpress

Good morning everyone :) As you can see from the latest 8am rainfall imagery below, the area of rain which has produced some rather hefty bursts, will slowly push South Eastwards later Today to affect the North of England, North Wales, Southern Scotland and the North of the Republic of Ireland later, a damp old day here whilst the far North West will begin to dry up :). By early on Saturday, the rain band will become very slow moving, and affect much of Wales and Northern England in particular, perhaps Cornwall to. During this time up to 50mm+ rainfall may fall by Mid day Saturday, leading to a risk of surface water flooding, and river flooding by Saturday afternoon in these locations. The strong winds, which have produced 60-70mph Gusts of wind for Western Scotland, will push South Eastwards into Northern England and North Wales later Today, although will have weakened considerably to just breezy conditions :) During Today may Central and Eastern areas look set to be fine, and sunny in the South East, although by Saturday it will be the West that sees the best sunshine, whilst many Eastern areas will be affected by drizzly bits. We will be issuing consequent warnings for heavy rain later Today regarding Saturday, thanks Kasim :)
