Have you wondered lately why AFSers keep mentioning the acryonym, I C L? Well, ICL stands for Intercultural Learning and it is at the heart of AFS programs and it differentiates AFS from other similar offerings and organizations. In relation to this, it is necessary that we – as an entire network – continually work to maintain a common language and understanding around Intercultural Learning. So, what is the program What Every AFSer Should Know About ICL all about? The What Every AFSer Should Know About Intercultural Learning Workshop is a two day training course that is developed to provide the basics of Intercultural Learning in AFS.
