Good morning everyone! I have a pick up listed for November 20th (which isnt too far away from now) but I want to do something a little bit different than what we normally do. Terrie Mitchell & friends from the food pantry are doing an event to feed the homeless on November 24th. She is specifically needing hams and desserts. I bought 4 boxes of brownie mix yesterday. If we get six more boxes, a few dozen eggs, a container of oil and 10 9x14 aluminum pans, that would be enough to cover dessert for the entire 150 people they are aiming to feed (each box serves 16). The boxes of brownies were $1.50 at Kroger. Eggs are also only $1-$2. I think you can get aluminum pans for pretty cheap at the dollar store. For this pick up, can we try to get these items? The hams are a little more expensive, so we can either all go in together on a few of them or if there are a few people willing to buy a ham on their own, that would be great too. This will be a Thanksgiving dinner for people who wont otherwise get one, so it would be lovely to contribute to!
