Good morning everyone! I hope this finds you all having a wonderful week so far! It looks like we may be in for some rain showers this evening so dress accordingly. Remember less is more. Wait. Scratch that. Too much left to interpretation. Ill have to check with legal on whether or not I can offer that advice. Many of you know that Ive been running most of my life. In fact, the last 26 years have been spent doing what most consider the most mundane of activities, putting one foot in front of the other. Many of you do not know that my running career started well before I took those first few steps at track practice so many years ago. Today we celebrate the 32nd anniversary of one of the most impactful moments in fitness and endurance sports history... the release of Jane Fondas first workout video!!! Afternoons spent sweating in the living room with nothing more than a box fan and Janes perfectly coifed hair laid the foundation for a lifetime of activity. Okay, okay. Im not being truthful with you all. I had actually never seen a Jane Fonda workout until about five minutes ago. That very video is linked below. Its no wonder the workout video achieved such mainstream success. It. Is. Brilliant. Tonight well head over to the University of Memphis and run some laps. Tonights workout is a bit different and Im super excited about it. I think youre going to like it. 1.75 Mile Warm Up 10x500m @ Speed Pace w/ 200m Jog Recovery 1.75 Mile Warm Down Remember to consult the McMillan Running Calculator (mcmillanrunning/index.php/site/calculator) in order to find your appropriate training paces.
