Good morning everyone. I hope you all survived Halloween. The kids started very early last evening, actually while I was walking Loki as soon as I got home, in the hopes of him getting his walk without being scared by the goings on. He was of course nervous, knew something was happening and after a very short walk, was anxious to get in the house. Of course Philly and Hemi reacted to footsteps on my deck just as I predicted, and took up their guardian role, barking and alerting as usual, which did upset Loki to a degree. All in all however, I am again very proud of Our Boy, because he did remain calm and I believe had a calming affect on Hemi and Philly as time wore on. We had expected to have a good supply of candy out for the kids, however due to some kids taking far more than their share, as witnessed by mom, our candy ran out early. So much for the honor system. Most kids however were very good about taking some and not grabbing many handfuls for themselves, so that others would get some. Before I get into heavy weekend housework, I wanted to let you all know that I did spend more time on the book this morning. Again on a good roll. While I would prefer to keep at it today, duty and house call, so the laptop is resting. Course my mind is racing with what I want to write. The background information is, I think completed, and unless something pertinent to the story crops up out of the blue, I am moving on to LOKIs Story, His Early Beginnings and our ongoing journey as it developed over the years. Of course Bonnie C, Roy and China will be included as they remain a very important part of Lokis life. This book writing is going to take some time, so please be patient folks. There is so much to share with all of you. Now onto getting Loki his brunch and back to my housework. Will touch base later.
