Good morning everyone. I picked up a bunch of new FaceBook friends yesterday...no doubt due to the weather. For those of you who are new...welcome! Its been a tough past couple of days here in southeastern New Mexico weather-wise, especially in Eddy County. I wish I could tell you that the rains are over (isnt that a weird statement given the drought weve endured here for the past 5 years) but its not. Our chances for seeing more heavy rain and flash flooding today into tomorrow are high. So please dont let your guard down. Im not one to air my dirty laundry pubically. But on a personal note it has also been a really tough week for Diane and I. We were already trying to cope with a bad situation when we received word of my sisters passing last night. We want to thank all of you for yours prayers and concerns. This makes the second daughter my poor mother has lost now. I really wish that some people who love to meddle in our personal lives would just quit. Enough is enough...you (you know who you are) think that you are doing the right thing...but in reality all you are doing is causing more hurt and harm. What we need is a lot of understanding, love, and support and not a bunch of self righteous underhanded backstabbing.
