Good morning everyone. Music History will return later this week after our potential storm here midweek. There is a Winter Storm Watch for Downeast Maine...and nothing here at this time. We have been watching the potential evoluation of the storm for the last several days and at this time...it appears it will either just graze us here in southwest Maine...or could miss altogether. But I will tell you...50 miles either way...closer or farther away...will mean plowable snow...or a miss altogether...thats how sensitive the potential track is. There will be a very big storm to our East on Wednesday...and there will likely be some snow and wind...but still not sure how much yet...at this time appears to be a very near miss...stay tuned. Climo for Portland for March 2014...temps have been very cold with 9 days this month highs below freezing...last time there were 10 days below freezing were in 1984...1972...1967...and 1960. Our high today is forecast to be 25...record minimax for today is 23 in 1956. Last time minimax broken was 3/7/07...stay tuned. Very cold today. Subbing at Westbrook High then piano students.
