Good morning everyone. Perhaps you read my previous post about Christmas. We are planning to have all children receive the same small gift for their age range and then hoping those sponsors and supporters who were going to give a gift in Christmas would be willing to donate towards a play set for the children as a joint Christmas gift. All kids will enjoy this equally. We are not going to ask for certain amounts. .. just hoping those of you who planned to send a package or money for a gift will contribute what you had budgeted towards this. Packages are discouraged due to high cost, more likely to become lost in the mail and most important for the consistency and fairness in the home on Christmas day. It just isnt realistic to have some kids with a bunch of gifts and others with none... so this is the goal. They will all get a gift that we are setting up and then share this play set. The picture I attached here is NOT exactly what it will be like but this is one of the pictures I sent to have the carpenter use as a general guide. The set will be built by a local carpenter rather than the metal sets which cost more than u would believe if I told you... haha . Plus its good to support the locals when we can . Anyway ... we will begin a Christmas fund and spreadsheet right away. You can add to sponsorship if you wish. ... just please indicate that to us in the transfer notes.
