Good morning everyone. Thankful for waking up with the gift of life and life another day. The Bible uses numbers in symbolic ways. God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. He declared the seventh day as as a Sabbath. During Joseph time in Egypt the country experienced sevel lean and seven prosperous years. Many of the laws given to Moses used seven qualifying days God told the people to eat unleavened bread for seven days. God told Joshua to march around Jericho for six days on the seventh day they marched around Jericho seven times. Jesus fed four thousand people using seven loaves after eating there were seven baskets of food left over. The early church in Jerusalem chose seven men as deacons. In Revelations John speakks to seven churches. Our seven day week can remind us that God completes and perfects us in Christ Jesus. Have a blessed Saturday.
