Good morning everyone! The doctor was just in and has given me the most wonderful news! The biopsy report shows no recurrence of my leukemia. Apparently, I am just much more sensitive to the toxic effects of the chemotherapy, and it has knocked my bone marrow down to the point that it has not been able to recover and start making blood cells normally yet. The plan now is to discharge me and continue to monitor my blood counts at home. They still feel it is very important for me to complete the chemo once my bone marrow recovers because my form of leukemia has a high rate of recurrence. I am out of the woods for now though. This truly is a miracle. I want to thank you all for your prayers. I dont believe I would be heading home today with this wonderful report had it not been for those prayers!
