Good morning, everyone. The talk of the town is the sharp cut off in snow amounts this morning. Right now, nassau was anywhere from 8-14 and suffolk 12-25+ inches. The city sadly were the ones that didnt make out well with this one. My snow map had a cut off between Nassau and Suffolk, I had a feeling there would be less there (not THAT much less). Where I messed up was the city, for sure.... Those heavy bands just never made it over there like EVERY reliable model said it would. This is weather though, I said it when I thanked all of you for following me the other day. It surprises and disappoints sometimes. So I apologize to everyone if your totals were a little lower then forecasted. It was still historic, it was still a blizzard and I saw the set up for this a week ago, it just wasnt as close to us as forecasted. My motto has been since Sandy, Always prepare no matter what! I hope I continue to be helpful for all of you and that you will trust my forecast moving forward for days to come. More on snow totals and everything later.
