Good morning everyone... We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who assisted us in so many ways to make the Pit Bull Plunge of 2015 our biggest success yet. Many of you know us personally and know the type of work we do to help RI shelter dogs.. We have been doing this since 2005 and each year we are able to help many dogs with your support. Many of the dogs we work with are not able to go into foster care due to the fact that they may need to be the only pet in the house-hold or need a lot of decompression before going into a busy home. We do offer foster care at our own facility for dogs that need this type of rehab. But this can only be done one dog at a time. So, the next best thing is working with the dogs with our volunteers while they await for their homes at the shelters. We really put a lot of effort into our enrichment programs for shelter dogs. Cross posting and getting the word out about the dogs is extremely important as well. Please help us make 2015 the Year of the Shelter Dogs!!! If anyone is interested in volunteering with our 501 C 3 non-profit organization... We will be hosting a breakfast meeting in the near future to meet people and answer your questions about volunteering.
