Good morning everyone! We wanted to take one moment this a.m. to clear up some misunderstandings. We are a licensed rescue. We had a hard time actually getting the dept of ag in to inspect because of staff changes on their part but were told to continue what we were doing and to keep up the good work until they could come. We passed our pre-license inspection the first try with no write ups. We applied for 501c3 some time ago. This is a many step process that is very expensive. We are awaiting word from the IRS on approval. This process can take months. Again, we did our part and now we are awaiting the government to do theirs. Regardless, we are a non profit group. We have NEVER taken a sick baby to an event. Our babies are picked up and taken straight to the vet before they even go into foster. They do not see an event until they are spayed and neutered. Since our babies are usually very sick, it sometimes means getting them well enough for surgery before we can spay or neuter them, but they do not go to the events until this done. We are about the animals! We can not do this without the support of the community. We do not do facebook drama. It does not help the animals and is a waste of precious time. We do not welcome negativity to our page. People that act ugly are banned. We invite you to call us with your questions. Come and visit us and see what we do. Meet our babies.
