Good morning everyone, another beautiful day here in Portland. We are looking at a northwest breeze around 10knots with a bit of wind gust from time to time . Southwest swell of 1.8 metres and should end up quite warm again. Big weekend here in Portland with a lot of boats out chasing tuna which seen some miss but others with good quality school fish upto 30 kg . One fish came in over 60kg and some big hits that will bring in a big barrel anytime now . Others chased makos with good results one around 90kg and others around the same. Blue eye ,ling and flathead where on the tables also. The bay to north shore still producing good whiting and flathead and sharks. Quick fish last night in the 20metre water gave me a feed of five nice flathead and one good whiting in quick time with other flathead released and small pinkies good fun and a couple of good meals . Havent heard much from the breakwall in the last couple of days apart from pinkies and a couple of big runs . Any updates are appreciated . Rivers from glenelg ,fitzroy and surrey are fishing well and always a great option and great places to stay. For all your bait and tackle needs today call into Portland compleat angler and say gday .
