Good morning everyone from a cold, windy and rainy Lalomanu, SAMOA. Spending the last Saturday here with my 3 girls before heading back to Apia in the evening and getting ready to fly back to Australia on Monday. Thank you God for this new day and the end of a very busy week for me here in Samoa. My last two days on Thursday and Friday were spent at a Family Service and Funeral service respectively for a very good friend of mine - Lemalu Samau Tate Simi - High Commissioner of Samoa in Australia who I will miss terribly. My condolences to his widowed wife, Peseta Noumea Simi and their 4 children. I will now like to leave you all with a quote from Ralph W Emerson which was included in Lemalus Funeral Order of Service: The purpose of Life is to be useful, to be honourable, compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well. Until we meet again Lemalu, R.I.P. brother.
