Good morning everyone its Amber. Im sitting here next to Brian holding his hand and wanted to do a quick update as I know its been a while. Brian was started on 2 different Neuro medicines one 3 weeks ago and the other 1 week ago. These medicines help to rebuild the neurotransmitters in his brain to help with his alertness and awareness. WoW they have helped for sure! He squeezes our hands now, he is tracking with his eyes and you can really tell hes trying to focus! Ive been showing him pictures of us and the kids and I can definitely see him really looking at them. He also moves his mouth like he wants to talk back to us so bad. Last night when his 2 lifelong best friends were here Joe Thompson and Jared Jones he was moving his arms, squeezing, looking and moving his mouth all at once. He was getting agitated and started breathing heavy which is a sign he is really trying! Ive been talking to him all morning and he is really looking at me and not that blank stare like before. He still has a very long way to go but he is making improvements everyday and I am so proud of him!! I know God is in full control, and we are just 2 and 1/2 weeks away from 3 months and 1 day. I am so anxious for this day to get here! I still have full Faith God is bringing him out of this with a renewed life and home to me, Marlee and Tucker, our families and friends!! Hes a fighter and Im so ready to prove all these doctors wrong!!!
