Good morning everyone its that time again lol. Hope you all had a lovely weekend and ready for a brand new week. So I finally got a chance at the weekend to sit and watch a TV programme I recorded earlier on in the week called release the hounds. I thought it would be fun for me and my dog Bella Bear to watch as she loves watching TV lol! To my surprise the lovely Jamie was a contestant (an old Pineapple Performing Arts Boy I had taught years ago)! Well, my Dog was thoroughly enjoying it especially the dog chase lol, but I could not believe the stereotyping going on in this show! The presenter basically implied the big strong muscle guy was gonna do well and as for the gay boy (Jamie) he had no hope! I was furious! Never underestimate a dancer! Even when screaming like a fairy Mary we are stronger then people think! I was delighted to see the other contestants do miserably and yes the gay dancer won! Moral of the story, dont judge a book by its cover and as Im sure Jamie would agree, we are stronger then we think, and when we put our determined mind to a task or situation, we CAN do anything regardless of other peoples misguided pre-conceptions thoughts and ideas of us!! That goes for all of us not just dancers! If you can overcome your fear, believe in yourself and have determination then anything is possible! So I remind you all, that whatever you are facing, you can deal with it, whatever you desire and want, you will achieve it! Dont listen to haters or negative influences! Trust yourself! Believe in yourself! You CAN do anything you want!!!! So have a wonderful week and a momentous Monday xx
