Good morning everyone , oops I mean afternoon , honestly I have been up for some time busy chopping logs and whilst I was so engaged I got to thinking about Scotland after independence and I came up with this great idea . In order to keep our legislators on the straight and narrow I think it would be a good idea to have a second House with a hand in making the laws of Scotland and I think that the best way of choosing members of this house would be to allow a representative from every pub darts and pool team in the country to be a member of this assembly. Now obviously there would be costs involved in this but I would imaging it would not be any more than £16 million per year . This would be for their expenses only . Of course there would have to be very strict rules regarding how they could be eligible for these expenses and I would suggest that they would have to be In attendance In the house for at least 40 minutes of the day in order to claim the daily allowance of £300. Now you my ask what qualifications would these people have for making the laws of the country to which I would answer well they would be proficient in pool and Darts and it would obviously help if they were to make large donations to one of the main political parties So what do you think of my idea folks? No , your dont think its a good idea ? Hmm well it might surprise you to learn that , that is exactly what you have at the moment !! It is called the HOUSE OF LORDS, and you know something most of them probably cant even play pool or darts. ,
