Good morning everyone, well look out its on here at Portland. Quite a few people have taken the opportunity today to get out and chase some tuna today and set for the big weekend. Todays weather is a cracker with light northwest to southwest breeze 2 to 6 knots and a southwest swell of 1.8 metres. For the guys heading out tomorrow you are looking at pretty much the same weather with a lower swell. Overcast conditions with the sun trying to break later In the day. A few went out yesterday chasing tuna and albacore with good results . Bluefin up around the 20 to 30 kg mark and the albacore around 8 to 20 kg mark. Lets see what happens today. Anyone wishing to fish the bay there are pinkies ,whiting ,flathead and sharks around and you should end up with a feed. Breakwater for pinkies and the odd whiting and the odd shark through the night. Walking along the beaches flicking salmon lures should end up with a result. Fitzroy river fishing ok for bream and good fish down the glenelg river system. Remember to make sure all your safety gear is in place and watch the speeds heading through the harbour. Last thing you want to take home is a fine. For all your bait and tackle needs today and over the weekend call into compleat angler and say gday .
