Good morning family and friends, This post is a hard one to complete. We took Vera for her follow up appointments yesterday. Cardiology confirms her heart is still beating too fast and out of rhythm. She has difficulty breathing due to fluid in her lungs. We will continue to juggle medications with the hope that she will breath easier and therefore feel better. The results of all the testing done while hospitalized were not optimistic. In addition to the mass in her Rt lung, there us also a mass in her pancreas, an aortic aneurysm(4.4cm), Congestive Heart Failure, and COPD. We will continue to follow up. Will get biopsy of these masses. Drs do believe them to be malignant. Once there is a cell sample, it can be staged, referred to Oncology, and a prognosis and care plan will follow. She is very quiet. I never thought I would miss her sassy pants comments but I do and hope she can sort through this and find her peace. She is still with me here at my house. Once I have specific information, I will share. Our house is open for visitors. Love to all xo
