Good morning family of God. Have you ever had an idea about - TopicsExpress

Good morning family of God. Have you ever had an idea about something you want to do, something you want to accomplish and someone tries to put your idea down. Hmm, I say some people do that because they are afraid to take their own risks so they push that on others. Remember people, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Go for your dreams, believe in yourself but most importantly believe in the one who has your back. Fear not and just trust in God. Have a blessed day. ************************************************************************************* In The Garden Devotional You Are WHAT You Think You Are Osella Clabaugh Scripture Reading: Proverbs 15 Text: The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. Proverbs 15:31 (KJV) Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. Proverbs 9:9 (KJV) The story is told of a man who found an eagles egg and put it into the nest of a barnyard chicken. The eaglet hatched with the brood of chicks and grew up with them. All his life, the eagle did what the chickens did. It scratched the dirt for seeds and insects to eat; it clucked and cackled; it flew no more than a few feet off the ground in a chicken like thrashing of wings and a flurry of feathers. One day the eagle saw a magnificent bird far above him in the cloudless sky. He watched as the bird soared gracefully on the wind, gliding through the air with scarcely a beat of its powerful wings. What a beautiful bird, the young eagle said. What is it called? The chicken next to him said, Why thats an eagle, The king of all birds. But dont give him any mind. You could never be like him. So the young eagle returned to pecking the dirt for seeds, and it died thinking it was a chicken. Proverbs 15:31 says The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. Matthew Henry says, It is the character of a wise man that he is very willing to be reproved, and therefore chooses to converse with those that, both by their words and example, will show him what is amiss in him: The ear that can take the reproof will love the reprover. Faithful, friendly reproofs, are here called the reproofs of life, not only because they are to be given in a lively manner, and with a prudent zeal (we must reprove by our lives as well as by our doctrine), but because, where they are well-taken, they are means of spiritual life; and lead to eternal life that distinguishes them from rebukes and reproaches for well-doing. These are rather reproofs of death - which we must not regard nor be influenced by. Secondly, Those that are so wise as to bear reproof well will hereby be made wiser. Proverbs 9:9 says Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. At length he will come to be numbered among the wise men of the age, and will have both ability and authority to reprove and instruct others. Those that learn well, and obey well, are likely in time to teach well and rule well. Matthew Henry I would like to share a few thoughts and quotations with you: You are what you think. All that you are arises from your thoughts. With your thoughts you make your world. Dont limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve If you think you can do a thing or think you cant do a thing, youre right. Henry Ford If we all did the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves. Thomas Edison I dont know how you feel about yourself. BUT, I know YOU are a Child of God. You are a child of the King of Kings. John 1:12 says But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (KJV) Galatians 3:26 says, For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.(KJV) Romans 8:17 says And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.(KJV) My friend I know God, the creator of the whole universe, loves us. He is watching us. He wants us to succeed. We will know some day that He has not left one thing undone for the eternal welfare of each of us. This is our day to show what we can do, what life and sacrifice we can daily, hourly, instantly make for God. If we give our all, we will get His all from the greatest of all. You are great, you are successful, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. If you think less of yourself, stop! I said STOP!! and remember you are Gods creation. Give God your best, and His best will come back to you. God knows you and what you can become because He has known you from the beginning. Remember you are not a chicken, you my friend are an Eagle. In other words you are very important because you belong to God. So believe in yourself, because God believes in you! God bless you. Lets pray. Most gracious heavenly Father, thank you for creating us. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for your many words of wisdom you give to us. Teach us to take them to heart. Teach us O Lord to realize that we are your creation and we are important. Lord we place our lives and our days in your hands, seeking your guidance and direction in everything that we say and do. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen God bless You. Osella Clabaugh
