Good morning, friends. It is a new day, a new month and a new beginning for Anambra people. I receive the news of our victory with humility, and sincerely wish to dedicate it to God and you. The role God played is obvious to everybody: life, health, and the sustenance to persevere. To Him alone be all the glory. And you? You have been the most amazing friend and supporter. This victory is a testimony to how much a determined people can go in achieving success. You made this happen. I thank you for the commitment to see it through. To my friends Tony Nwoye, Senator Chris Ngige, Ifeanyi Ubah and others who also ran strong campaigns, I salute your love for our state and equally congratulate you on the outcome of the election. Let me be clear: We all won this victory together! Which is why I call on you all to join hands with me in continuing with the good works our able governor, His Excellency, Peter Obi did in our state in the last 8 years. Please lets come together to unite our people. We shall be going back to the drawing board to strategize on how to ensure that Ndi Anambra become the ultimate beneficiaries of this mandate which they have given us. Thank you.
