Good morning friends & family. Its time for another daily report on my mothers condition . A few days back we ran into a complication of my moms body rejecting the vent , her body was going into spasms and her anxiety was skyrocketing . The problem with this was the vent helped her expel carbon dioxide from her body , with no vent on her body she was poisoning herself , and with no vent it meant no going home . Well Tuesday morning I arrived at the hospital to find that she had been able to get back on and expunge the carbon dioxide from her body . So as excited as I was I knew there was going to be a catch , there has always been a catch . So heres the catch , we now must have several days successfully on the vent or no home , we are on day two , still no word on how many more days we will be stuck here . My ability to continue is slowly leaving me , her ability to continue is reaching its limit . We had other complications we didnt expect , we have longer here in abq , my moms fund has run dry and we are running on hope @ this point ,right now today . This has been its own reward , this entire experience , however my mom and I are about done . She and I are both human and have our limits . I have no more gas money or food money for my mom or her needs while here , but Ill still be here waiting for that word so I can take her home . Ive done all I can do and am all out of ideas and cheer up speeches and fund raising techniques and coverage at the hospital and places to stay while my mom and I endure this hell . So for all her friends and family she will be returning to Chimayo just like I said she would , happy healthy and back in her safety and comfort . It will be soon , very soon .
