Good morning friends, family, spectators, patriots, veterans, etc. I am sitting inside the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center. I arived for my appointment with Senator Cruz an hour early! Patina has her new engine and is running very very well. Dwight worked all day and late into the night to get her driving so I could get back on my mission and not miss my appointment. Dwight you are truly a brilliant mechanic. I have only one minor hiccup that appears to be a problem all along with the carburetor not putting out enough fuel on the top end... possibly a jet that needs some attention. it was a newly remanufactured carburetor and with all things remanufactured there is allways a chance of something being missed. none the less the drive to DC I thought for sure I was in HERBIE!!!! here are a couple photos I took this morning on my arrival.
