Good morning from Seattle where the sun is shining…………I thought it was supposed to rain here a lot? We started debarkation at 7:15am and already have 220 guests on their way sadly home after a brilliant vacation in Alaska. Today we have 77 crew leaving on vacation and another 77 joining the ship as a busy embarkation day starts for the ship’s company. Nobody is busier though than the store room manager who has to supervise approx 200 pallets of supplies and essentials that have to be unloaded from trucks, fork lifted onto the ship and then moved to the huge storage areas on deck A and B aft. These stores all have to be secured to strict company guidelines before the ship sails and it is a big job to get this done. It looks like I will have a busy day here on Facebook so I better bash on. There will be a blog today as well for you. I didn’t sleep well last night. I counted sheep……I counted the tigers that spring out of the field and eat them. I did lists in my head………….favourite cars, Carnival ship Captains, how many screen names Jim Storm has but sleep would not come. I lay there in my bed in my underpants and invented a game for Xboxplaystation where I am trapped on the Carnival Miracle. I am alone and have to defend the ship against Zombie-like creatures that are attacking me. They are all wearing green graduation caps and gowns as they shuffle toward me, arms open wide, teeth ready to tear my flesh. I guess I fell asleep around 4am and the alarm went off at 6:45am and now I can’t shake off the huge pair of Yak testicles that seem to have been nailed onto my head . Maybe a quick cigar on my balcony will help Cheers and wywh
