Good morning from my girlfriends parents home in Terryville, CT. Its currently 10:30am, 30 degrees, and Ive just now rolled out of one of the most peaceful slumbers in my recent memory. Taking the first glance outside with sunlight since my arrival here late last night, Im reminded that their home is an absolute playground for anyone with a camera. Weathered wood structures, a forest, snow packs, chickens, dogs, rock walls, lakes, etc times a jillion billion. Its a far cry from the recent insanity of nightly riots and jammed morning commutes. Birds are singing, the wood stove is burning, family will be visiting soon, and I hear people giggling downstairs. Its going to be a nice weekend here. 🙏
