Good morning guys. Cloud and showery rain across North Western parts of Scotland once again to start the day. This will move slowly South during today, easing as it does so. Brighter conditions following on behind for Scotland with a few scattered showers. Weakening weather fronts will bring a cloudier day than yesterday for much of England and Wales with some patchy rain at times although this is likely to be hit and miss and many places will remain dry. Some bright or sunny spells are likely at times, especially in Southern England, but cloud will also increase here during this afternoon. The extreme South may hold onto brighter conditions for much of the day. A rather cloudy day for Northern Ireland with some patchy rain, although brightening up in Northern parts later with some bright or sunny spells. A breezy day to come for Northern parts of the UK, especially in North Eastern parts of Scotland, although lighter winds elsewhere. Cloud will begin to break for many areas, especially in Northern parts of the UK with some lengthy clear spells developing. Further South may remain rather cloudy for a time, especially in South Western England, although even here cloud should begin to break during the second half of the night. A chilly night to come for many with a touch of frost possible, especially in Northern parts of the UK, although further South any frost is likely to be restricted to rural areas. Some mist patches also developing in places. Winds will become light for most parts although still a noticeable breeze along Eastern coasts.
