Good morning men, Todays EQMIM devo: Be a Giant Killer We all have giants to face in life and, with God’s help, they can be defeated for His glory. Then Goliath, a Philistine champion from Gath, came out of the Philistine ranks to face the forces of Israel. He was over nine feet tall! - 1 Samuel 17:4 Every day you and I face regular-sized problems. But once in a while a giant shows up - a problem that threatens every aspect of our lives. About five years ago, I started thinking about table leaders at the weekly Man in the Mirror Bible study. In the previous two years, more than half of them had faced giant-sized problems. Those challenges usually come from one of five sources: kids, wife, work, wealth or health. Have you had a giant-sized problem in one of those areas? Perhaps you have a rebellious child. Perhaps youre engaged in a power struggle at home, and you or your wife have decided to call it quits. Maybe you had to downsize your company, or you got downsized and youre out of work. Or maybe you just received a bad report from your doctor. There is hope. Whatever your giant looks like, remember that God intends for His people to be giant killers.
