Good morning my Friends! Time for our M.S.N. (Morning Spiritual Nourishment). I know it is a bit later than usual, but I got caught up this morning in my Bible study and I just needed to stay in the moment. I love that! Here is the message I felt moved to share: Multiple times a day we are confronted with situations that cause us to act, sometimes very quickly. However, we must not forget that every decision to act whether physical , verbal or even expressions often elicit a response. Many times an internal response in others effected by your action. Something that a mentor told me years ago and has helped me enormously is very simple: Stop for a moment, do nothing, speak to the Lord, even just say the name Jesus a few times. This process has squelched many a quarrel over the past few years and I am sure made the other person ponder their own responses. Not to mention it has made me feel a whole lot better about my end of the situation. Call on the Holy Spirit of Jesus, I guarantee he will show up. Below are just a few scriptural references to what I share here. Trust me there are plenty. Isaiah 55:8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. Ecclesiastes 7:23 I have always tried my best to let wisdom guide my thoughts and actions. I said to myself, “I am determined to be wise.” But it didn’t work. Ecclesiastes 10:13 Fools base their thoughts on foolish assumptions, so their conclusions will be wicked madness; Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! * As always, I wish you A Blessed Day, but more importantly, Be A Blessing! - mk
