Good morning my dear brothers and sisters! The week has been very eventful. Saturday was the standard bank living with AIDS football tournament at OYDC were I was guest of honour and then it was Chaminuka for a parliamentary workshop on budgeting until Monday afternoon. Tuesday was an important meeting concerning the work on roads in Kabwata with Council engineers, road contractors and councillors. Wednesday was meeting concerning the construction of Godfrey Miyanda police post in Hillview park. The site was handed over to the contractor for work to start in earnest. I look forward to the ground breaking. Wednesday afternoon I went round orphanages in the constituency donating beef. Thursday morning I joined the Minister of Home Affairs at the Lilayi police pass out parade and in the afternoon in spent time with councillors and tourism and arts officials planning how we in Kabwata shall celebrate Jubilee. This was all with the sittings of parliament. Friday was budget presentation followed a wedding of Bhamjee and Chanda at intercontinental and then an album launch by the Great Chronicles choir of the John Laing Baptist church at Nakatindi hall were I was again Guest of honour. I thank God for making all this work.
