Good morning my friends. I am really running let this morning. It - TopicsExpress

Good morning my friends. I am really running let this morning. It is already after 5:00 and I’m just now getting started on my post. I was awaken four or five times during the night by a little white fur ball called, Gigi. She would either be making all kinds of noise or either trying to get back on the bed from one of her trips to the water bowl. I’d have to reach down on the floor and pick her up and help her back on the bed where she sleeps between our pillows. What bothers me so much is that I fix the comforter each night and fold it and drape it across the cedar chest at the foot of the bed just so she can jump up onto that and then jump up onto the bed. She might use that once or twice and she either gets lazy or either she’s getting senile and forgets it’s there. No, she’s not spoiled! She was already that way when we inherited her. I had one of those dreams last night that just didn’t make any sense at all. When I finally got up, I was dreaming about a big building in Mooresville that the town had bought and converted it for educational purposes. I remember talking about our Lake Norman and the need for sailing classes and didn’t think too much about that, so I signed up for a class or two. Well, get this, the classes were for sailing those huge tall ships, you know, three and four-masted schooners and ships like that. What made it so strange was that Lake Norman was full of ‘em and there I was climbing up helping to set sail on one of the tallest ships there. That was when I knew something was wrong and thankfully woke up before I fell. I‘m not gonna risk my life climbing up three or four stories high for anybody, not even in my dreams. We had a wonderful time at the Side Door last night celebrating the 10th birthday of my grandson, Will Koury. Will is a piece of work that always keeps us entertained. We already have enough Will stories that will someday probably become legend. We made family pictures of the event to save it for posterity. The grandkids seem to grow up faster today than I did when I was a yard-youngin’. It seemed like it took me fifteen or twenty years to get to be ten and Will did it in just a couple. Boy, time flies when you get older. The next thing you know, the boy will be going to college and I will be old. Well, since it is so late, I had better close and study my Sunday school lesson and get ready for church. I hope you all have a good day and don’t forget to say your prayers for your friends, family members, and even your enemies. If your enemies find out you’re praying for them, it’ll drive them nuts. God Bless!!
