Good morning my friends. I have been up for over an hour reading - TopicsExpress

Good morning my friends. I have been up for over an hour reading the posts of so many friends that I have let time slip away and it’s already 3:45. We met some nice folks from Hickory yesterday at our gallery and we found we had a lot in common about our fondness for the mountains. And then the young lady dropped a bombshell when she told me that she and her husband ran up to the top of Grandfather Mountain. Of course, I had to ask, “On purpose?” I also asked her if there was anybody chasing them with a gun making them do this. She was serious, they ran to the top of Grandfather Mountain…it gives me out just driving up to the top. Well, I suppose you might have surmised by now that I am not a great fan of jogging and have never really understood the benefits of it, except that it does provide a great many orthopedic doctors with a good living. Maybe they’ll run a special on knee replacements next year for Christmas. That jogging thing also makes my feet hurt in addition to my ankles, knees, calves, shins, thighs, and anything else associated with the legs. But, my hearing seems to improve while I am jogging because I can hear myself wheezing much better. I haven’t been to the Planet for about three weeks now, so I suppose Monday morning will find me there on the treadmill for about ten minutes…that’s about my limit and then I will start the thirty minute workout on the machines. By the time I get finished with all that, it’s time to get back home and head to work. If I can do all that early enough, I will still have time for a nap before opening. Mondays are easier because it doesn’t take much time to read the lightweight Charlotte Disturber on Monday…they are almost like a real newspaper, except smaller. Have you noticed that the Disturber has now sometimes split the comics up where you can’t cut out the crossword without cutting out some of the comics on the other side of the paper? If they keep that up very long, I will cancel my subscription and start taking the Statesville paper…I heard they delivered it in the morning now. When I used to deliver the Record and Landmark, it was an afternoon paper. Well, the old clock on the old computer tells me it’s after 5:00 and that means it’s time to hit the shower and head to the gallery. I usually read the paper while consuming my cheese crackers and ginger snaps and then I study my Sunday school lesson before going to church for early service. I hope you all have a great day filled with some sunshine and happiness. Oops, Chris Larson on WBTV just informed us that is raining, but don’t let a little moisture spoil your day. Hug somebody and tell them you love them and it’ll be a great day. God Bless!!
